Top 5 finalists from Singapore and the Philippines to compete on 10th Dec in a hybrid event
Singapore, 6 Dec 2021 – ISDN Software Business (“ISDN”) today announced that they will host the Final Presentation for the ISDN Industrial Innovation Challenge 2021 in a hybrid event on 10th December 2021.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been pivotal in bringing about significant changes to the manufacturing and industrial automation industry.
It posed a challenge for factories that rely on a strong onsite workforce to carry out operation and maintenance work.
“This pandemic has forced us to reexamine the way we run our business. As such, companies that invested early in tech that meets industry 4.0 standards are more likely to thrive during the pandemic while those that ignore it find themselves struggling during the lockdown period,” said Mr GK Tay, Director of ISDN.

It is with this backdrop in mind that ISDN, together with its partners AVEVA and Stratus Technologies, launched the Industrial Innovation Competition. The Final Presentation features the Top 5 finalists, showcasing some of the brilliant minds that outshine their competitors in providing solutions to real-world design problems that factories are facing today.

The four Singaporean finalists, Automatic Controls and Instrumentation Pte Ltd, Broadcom Singapore Pte Ltd, ITE College East and Temasek Polytechnic will be presenting live from the new ISDN office at 101 Defu Lane to the judges from ISDN Software, AVEVA and Stratus. The finalist from the Philippines, Auroratech Corporation, will present virtually.

- Research on problem
- Solution Design and Methodology
- Execution of Solution
- Creativity
- Presentation
